UNLOCK DLC FOR LEGIT GAMES

METHOD 1

STEP 0 - Clarification/Preparation

This will allow you play any DLC you want for games that you actually own on steam (or via family sharing).

Please don't share this information with everyone, as Valve could patch this.

First make sure, you have the game installed (obviously).

Some games have the DLC content embedded in the game files already. In that case, skip the next instruction.

Download the all DLC files for the game. (Make sure they are up to date)

STEP 1 - Get steamworks fix

Find the steamworks fix of the game you want to unlock the DLC for, on our forum.

If exists, extract all contents to the your game folder (located by default in: ..\Steam\steamapps\common\<game_folder>).

Replace the files if asked.

If there doesn't exist a steamworks fix for the game you want to unlock the DLC for, you could try another method.

The second method is to crack steam.

STEP 2 - Edit REVOLT.ini (Optional)

Open the extracted REVOLT.ini with a text editor

Search for the line that starts with "key = ".

Now you can either remove the entire line, or comment it out.

To comment out the line, you need to put "#" in front of it.

So for example, change this line:

Key = XyX6sQ75n8oZAvY5HTlPfg==

To:

# Key = XyX6sQ75n8oZAvY5HTlPfg==

And finally, save REVOLT.ini

STEP 3 - Run the game

Start the game from your steam library or steam shortcut.

The DLC should now all be unlocked ingame!

Have fun!

Method 2

CreamAPI

Features:

+++++++++

- The ability to unlock all DLCs on legit steam

- Support for the all known SteamApps versions (2 to icon_cool.gif

- Support for the games that are making the use of steamclient.dll

- A possbility to use the tool as the lightweight steam wrapper

Installation (x86):

++++++++++++++++++++

- Download and extract the DLC you want

- Rename the original steam_api.dll to steam_api_o.dll

- Copy steam_api.dll and cream_api.ini to the game folder

- Configure cream_api.ini (see "Confuguration notes" below)

- Enjoy

Installation (x64):

++++++++++++++++++++

- Download and extract the DLC you want

- Rename the original steam_api64.dll to steam_api64_o.dll

- Copy steam_api64.dll and cream_api.ini to the game folder

- Configure cream_api.ini (see "Confuguration notes" below)

- Enjoy

Configuration notes:

++++++++++++++++++++

- Some games do have a special check of steam_api.dll/steam_api64.dll, so if it's modified, game won't start anymore (e.g. Magicka)(also some games are checking if there is an *.ini file inside the directory).

In order to be able to play such games with unlocker, you should set the "extraprotection" option to "true".

Keep in mind that some games still won't work (e.g. Serious Sam HD: TFE/TSE) if they have more custom checks then expected.

- Some games do support the automatic DLC unlock, so then you can put : unlockall = true and every DLC will be unlocked

- Some games do NOT support the unlock mentioned above so you should manually enter it in [dlc] section. Here is an example:

[dlc_index]

0 = 251080

1 = 251081

2 = 351460

Notes: Keep in mind that the index should ALWAYS start from 0.

- [dlc_subscription] is used for checking a DLC ownership. Configuration of this section is a very important step, otherwise a DLC, most likely, won't be handled properly.

Here is an example of how this section should be configured:

[dlc_subscription]

; Cities: Skylines - Snowfall

420610 = true

; Cities: Skylines - After Dark

369150 = true

Notes: Keep in mind that if the DLC's ID is not inside of the section or it's value is set to "false", then the specified DLC WON'T be subscribed !

- Some games do require a PROPER names being set for every DLC (e.g. Borderlands 2 or Rise of the Tomb Raider). So you should put it to [dlc_names] section with the SAME order you put @[dlc] section:

[dlc_names]

0 = Awesomenauts - Abyssal Swiggins Skin

1 = Awesomenauts - Admiral Swiggins, PHD Skin

2 = Awesomenauts - Battle Nibbs Skin

- Starting from the v2.0.0.6 there is a possibility to use the tool as the lightweight steam wrapper. By default the wrapper mode is tuned off. To turn it on,

change the "wrappermode" key in "steam" section to "true":

[steam]

wrappermode = true

You might also want to configure another two keys : "newappid" and "emudll", located in "steam_wrapper" section.

"newappid" key is used for the fake application id (e.g. 480 aka SpaceWar app).

"emudll" key is used for remote storage and stats/achievements handling (this should work with SmartSteam, 3DM, CODEX emulators), keep in mind that "loademu" option should be turned on.

I can't guarantee you won't get banned (no one knowns the future), but I can say the chances of being banned are extremely low at the moment.

Keep in mind this doesn't work with games that have server side checks (mostly F2P games).
