Here are some of the best weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that we’ve found so far. We’ve included tips for all levels of the game, so you can dish out the damage from day one. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: best weapons for the early, mid, and late game An inventive and deadly arsenal of weaponry is at the heart of any great action game, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has a whole lot to choose from. Here are some of the best weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that we’ve found so far. We’ve included tips for all levels of the game, so you can dish out the damage from day one. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Best Weapons – rarity In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you have two weapon slots: melee and ranged. As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock a second melee weapon slot too. There are four rarities of weapon that you can find throughout the Classical Greek World: Common, which are black, Rare, which are blue, Epic, which are purple, and Legendary, which are golden. All weapons have a “DPS” stat, which determines how much damage they do. Legendary and Epic weapons have the strongest DPS relative to their level and also give you the most stat boosts. Common weapons give you one boost, Rare ones give you two, and Epic weapons give you three. Legendary weapons also give you third, but the last one is a golden unique ability. Once you find a Legendary weapon, you unlock its Legendary Engraving, which means you can give its golden perk to any other weapon. Best weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for the early and mid-game Throughout most of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you’re going to be chopping and changing between different weapons as you progress through the levels. Any gear that you come across is going to be quickly outclassed by higher level equipment, which means you’ll always be finding new stuff to use. It’s not cost-effective to keep upgrading things at the blacksmith, so try not to get too attached. If you do want to search out powerful items early though, here are a few suggestions: On Kephallonia, during the Spear of Kephalos quest that you get from the Temple of Zeus in Sami, you can lie to the priestess once you’ve retrieved the spear from Melissani Cave and say that it wasn’t there. This means that you can keep the Spear of Kephalos, which is a Rare level item. This is super early to get hold of one, so you could keep hold of it and upgrade it for a while. To get a strong legendary bow once you reach Phokis, head north to the Temple of Artemis. Here you’ll meet Daphnae, who’ll send you to kill the Kalydonian Boar. It’s a tough fight – which we’ve done a whole guide page for – but once it’s done you’ll get Artemis’s Bowwhich buffs your Bow charging speed and Predator Shot Ability. When you get the ability to go to Argolis, make your way to the northeastern area – the Palace of Agamemnon. In the west of this area you’ll find a fort called Mycenae. Inside of the Legendary chest in this fort you’ll get your hands on the Hammer of Jason. It’s a quality heavy blunt with an awesome golden perk: +20% damage with the Shield Break ability. It’s worth grabbing for the engraving alone. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey best weapons for the late game There are loads of rare and powerful weapons with exceptional abilities for you to uncover throughout your journey. A strong place to start is with the Pegasos set sword: Chrysaor. This Legendary sword has the golden perk of +25% damage after a perfect dodge, which by the late game hopefully you’ve gotten pretty good at pulling off. An interesting weapon is Pandora’s Kopis, which you get from killing the Nemean Lion. It’s Legendary perk is +100% damage and +50% health for Tamed Beasts, which opens up a whole new playstyle based around that character ability. Another strong weapon is the Dagger of Kronus, which deals +40% damage with attacks from behind. Being a sneaky assassin, this happens quite a lot. For a less subtle approach, try the Mallet of Everlasting Flame. This behemoth heavy blunt deals all weapon damage as fire damage – and well as boosting your fire damage by 20%. And last but not least is the Gorgoneion Xiphos, which has the unique ability of “Low chance to Stun on melee hit”. Combined with the quick attack speeds of a sword or dagger, this can end up helping out more than you think. Source; VG24/7
3. An April Fool, a tweet, and a talkative app all point toward a possible return of DedSec. The reasonable response to being told that Watch Dogs 3 is in development would be to say, "Of course it is." Watch Dogs is a major, well-known game series that's been reasonably successful for Ubisoft and, like Assassin's Creed and Far Cry, has virtually boundless potential for more. But as PlayStationLifeStyle noted last week, a couple of more specific signs of dogs being watched recently came to light. First, as we noted in our April Fools' Day roundup, an "admin console" that appeared on the Uplay site for the day enabled gamers to hack into it, Watch Dogs-style, to discover information including a list of unreleased games. (Nome of which could actually be read, of course.) There was also a tweet that appeared briefly on the official Watch Dogs account stating, cryptically, "This is everything," which PlayStation Universe suggested could be the beginning of a viral marketing campaign. But what really sealed the deal (bearing in mind that this is all strictly speculation, and no deal has been sealed) is a UbiCentral video stating that Sam, the Siri-like assistant built into Ubisoft's mobile app, dropped the dime itself. "Watch Dogs 3 is not finished yet, but from the last early build I tried it's very solid," the app said dutifully when asked about the state of the sequel. "The Dev team works wonders! Can't wait for you to try it!!" I can't confirm that the Sam assistant actually spoke those words (and yes, it does speak), and if it did, it no longer does: I installed the app and asked about it myself. "You'd think that I'd know what was brewing in the Watchdogs universe with my DedSec contacts, but I haven't heard a blip from them about a sequel," it said in response. "I'll let you know if I get new info on this." A Ubisoft representative was somewhat more to the point about it, saying, "We do not comment on rumor and speculation."

Whats worse? Whos worse? Debate!

Hi CorePacks Community, Im curious to see what others opinions surrounding the follow topics are. Are they all terrible concepts? Do they work? Which publishers are the worst? Day 1 DLC : In my opinion when i see Day 1 DLC this is as clear as day that the publisher has decided to take content that should be in the release and try to make a extra buck by selling it back the the consumer. I've noticed this more recently and its something that really gets on my nerves! DLC - Great Idea, fully support it... Day 1 DLC - BLATENT ATTEMPT TO SQUEEZE EVERY PENNY OUT OF THE POUR SOUL WHO HAS ALREADY PAYED $60 ON YOUR TITLE. I can only see this getting worse. Micro-transactions in Single Player Games : Shadow of war is the culprit that springs to mind here. If you're not already aware about the micro-transactions in this game look it up. I feel like the grind in this game has purposely been made more of a grind so consumers are tempted to buy micro-transactions, which in a Single Player full Price title is totally unacceptable (again this is just my opinion). In fact i believe Shadow of war also included Day 1 DLC... My fingers are pointing towards WB here. Great game almost ruined by money grabbing Publishers. Especially considering there are very little server costs for the title these types of Micro-transactions are a joke. Taking a hit on performance to make your game harder to crack : Yep, im talking about AC:O... Now i know Ubisoft released a statement saying the VM Software used to protect Denuvo didn't effect performance, but its just as hard for them to prove that, than it is for anyone else to prove it does effect performance. Personally, reading up on how the VM software works i find it hard to believe it has no negative impact on CPU usage, but again, i'm not anywhere near clever enough to prove this so i have keep an open mind. I loosely understand companies need to protect their title from being cracked within the first week or so (not that a agree with the price they charge...) but i feel like any anti-crack method that impacts the performance of every single player (legit or not) is pure evil. I just cant make my mind up where i stand, and i think until i have the facts regarding performance impact, i will stay at a neutral stand. Whats your opinion on these concepts? Also if you feel like any other topics are bugging you and are worth debating please do mention them! Please remember everyone has their own opinion, be respectful of others even if you do not agree. Thats what a good debate is all about!

8. Ubisoft has announced that its open-world third-person shooter, The Division, will receive full Arabic support. In a brief Facebook post, Ubisoft said that the game will not only receive Arabic subtitles and UI support, but also Arabic voice overs as well. The Division will probably be only the second game to receive Arabic voice overs after 2013's Tomb Raider, which saw former Miss Lebanon Nadine Njiem voicing Lara Croft's role. The Division is slated to release sometime this year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. For more on the game Finally,Thanks @UBISOFT (Video)

Far Cry Primal - THE REVIEW

ABOUT THE GAME The game is set in 10,000 BCE during the beginning of the Mesolithic. It takes place in the fictional Oros valley in Central Europe, an open world filled with different types of flora and fauna. Unlike previous games, there is prehistoric wildlife such as mammoths, dire wolves, cave bear, cave lions, woolly rhinos, irish elk and saber-toothed catsalong with modern creatures like brown bears, badgers, and deer. Survival is a daily challenge as tribes come into conflict with one another and nature. Players take on the role of a Wenja tribesman named Takkar (Elias Toufexis),who is stranded in Oros with no weapons after his hunting party is ambushed.Takkar, using his newfound skill of taming animals, will eventually rise to power and lead his own tribe. VIDEO PLAYTHROUGH THE REVIEW Farcry Primal starts off the usual way , a typical story from stone age.Language was different and they had put a lot of effort into that which i can appreciate. I will now get straight to the gameplay. Its the usual start-off like all the farcry games, the villain gives you a knock and goes off. Also as usual they bring in another side villain which you have to kill.Be prepared to take blood pressure pills as you have to walk/run a lot and a single blow from the ennemy will drain your health up.I was literally screaming at this. There were times where i had 4 health bars and a single hit from the enemy would bring my health down to critical.THe game is a clone of Farcry 4,with the same old enemy fortresses and elephant rides.Infact the game is so much limited when compared to Farcry 4.The gameplay was so monotonous.Every damn mission was the same.Thank god for FAST TRAVEL lol. Moving on to the Graphics, Its the same DUNIA Engine they used for Farcry 4.Nothing special or different.Same FPS infact as Farcry 4 for me. In conclusion i found nothing different about the game and nothing positive to tell because i can do much more than this in Farcry 4.But let me know your thoughts below THE VERDICT FARCRY Primal serves as a downgrade to its predecessor offering nothing different. 5/10 Would'nt spend more than 15$ on this

15. Ubisoft Sees The Division As a Franchise, Plans on Building It For Years We chat with Julian Gerighty, the associate creative director forThe Division, about Ubisoft’s plans for the property and continued support following its debut. It won’t be long now until gamers are booting up Tom Clancy’s The Division and jumping into a chaotic, virus-ridden version of New York City. While the game seems promising for those wanting to team up with friends online and score some digital loot, the game’s success will ultimately come down to how well Ubisoft supports the title post-launch. Evidently, the company has some serious plans for the game for the months, and apparently even years, after it arrives this March. I was given the opportunity of chatting with the associate creative director for The Division, Julian Gerighty, during a recent media event in New York City. During my time with him, we discussed many things ranging from comparisons between his game and Destiny to why the title was in development for so many years, but I was curious to find out how Ubisoft saw The Division going forward and what kind of support the company had planned for it in the wake of its release. GR: Do you see The Division as a franchise moving forward? “I think Ubisoft sees The Division as a franchise. I just want to get this game out and support this game, and really focus on building this experience over the next few years. Because, you know, today you can’t just release a game and forget about it. This is an online enabled game. We know people are going to be playing hours and hours of content and they’re wanting to be entertained for more. So, we’re going to do free updates, we’re going to do DLCs. There’s a whole content plan for at least 12 months after launch.” As with any new IP, Ubisoft is looking to make an investment in the property it has created, so hearing that the publisher would like to turn The Division into a series isn’t all that shocking. What’s more impressive is the intent that Ubi has to support the game for at least 12 months following its launch via ample updates and downloadable content. It’s a similar strategy to what has been implemented in Destiny, and that has worked rather well for Bungie and Activision thus far. That said, further support will likely only come if the game manages to sell well, which is something hopeful players would be wise to keep in mind. The Division will arrive for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 8, 2016. Game TitleThe Division PlatformPC, PS4, Xbox One PublisherUbisoft Developer Ubisoft Release Mar 08, 2016
